When it comes to owning a Jacuzzi® hot tub there are some common myths bubbling around which may be stopping you from making the next step in your hot tub dreams.
With a long British winter ahead of us, a Jacuzzi© hot tub provides the perfect retreat to warm up those cold, dark evenings.
From recovering from rain-soaked walks home to easing that winter cold you catch every year, we’ve put together seven of the hottest reasons to take a dip in your hot tub this winter.
You can generally rely on two things when you live in the UK – summer will be short and disappointing while winter will be cold and long.
We can only think of one way to improve those long winter nights – jumping into a Jacuzzi© hot tub with a hot chocolate and our friends or family (or even by ourselves if it’s been one of those weeks). Whilst hot tubbing in the summer may feel like a luxury, taking a dip in the tub when it’s cold and dark outside feels out of this world.
From eating that extra slice of cake, running a red light on your way home from work or not cleaning your hot tub filters – we’re all guilty of committing the odd sin every once in a while. But when it comes to you and your Jacuzzi, continuously committing hot tub sins can result in serious damage to your hot tub.
You’ve got the hot tub, you’ve got the sunshine – now where’s the party?
If you’re gagging to invite your friends over to show off your new Jacuzzi©…we mean for a get together at yours then you’re going to need a few party essentials to make it a hot tub party to remember.
We’ve put together a list of everything you need to wow your friends and make your hot tub the place to be.

“You could almost become euphoric sitting in your tub,” said one very happy hot tub owner.

- That they are too expensive to really ever own one
- They cost too much to run
So let’s go on a myth-busting mission. Basically, if you’re using your hot tub sensibly there is no need for your electricity bill to sky-rocket. Regularly cleaning and maintaining your hot tub and adding some simple features will make you huge savings over the lifetime of your Jacuzzi© hot tub.

What do you think about hot tubbing in summer to stay cool? Do you think it’s a good or bad idea?
Did you know that your hot tub can be a lifesaver in hot weather? If that sounds like a contradiction, it’s not! Turn the temperature to 37 or 38 degrees Celsius (99 or 100 Fahrenheit). Your skin temperature runs between 34 and 36 degrees Celsius (94 and 96 Fahrenheit). If you turned the tub to 34 Celsius, you’d feel chilled as you sit still. Really! You can stay in for a good long while at 37 degrees Celsius – past the prune fingers and toes stage. Whenyou get out, you’ll feel refreshed for hours. It’s something about the heating of your body on a sustained basis and then the cooling down which feels so much more refreshing than a shower.
Hot tubs can provide a relaxing experience for adults, but can be very dangerous for young children, as they are especially vulnerable to the heat of a hot tub and can drown or risk infection. Before letting your child use a hot tub, be sure that they are old enough and familiarise yourself with safety precautions.
Saunas provide a wonderful way to unwind and relax. The extreme, dry heat has numerous health benefits such as relieving pain and reducing stress levels. It also elevates your metabolism, increases blood circulation, strengthens the contractions of your heart muscle and even gives your immune system a boost. The sweating can also help with weight loss.

Saunas are a wonderful way to look after your beauty needs in a very natural way. The benefits of regular sauna use are significant, and what better way to spend some time with the family?
Nothing is more relaxing after a long day than sitting in your very own Jacuzzi hot tub or spa. A hot tub can soothe away the stress of everyday worries, as well as relieve the aches and pains that are sometimes the result of physical activity.
However, buying a Jacuzzi hot tub can also result in a lot of stress and headaches. So to help you make an informed decision, here are a couple of tips on how to buy the best hot tub for you and your family.
Hydrotherapy involves the use of water for soothing an aching body or speeding up the recovery of other muscular ailments. It combines water with air and heat to promote well being.
The use of water for therapy has been around for hundreds of years, as far back as the Ancient Greeks and Romans, and forms an integral part in many traditional medicine systems.
Sauna therapy is a great way to sit and relax, easing the body and mind. However, saunas and steam baths are much more than just leisure products. Indeed, there are various health benefits associated with using a sauna.
The tradition of using a sauna stems from the centuries old ritual of cleansing the body and the soul. Routines vary, but the basic idea is simple: sitting in the sauna, which is typically warmed to 160 – 180 degrees Fahrenheit (71 – 82 Celsius), for 10-20 minutes. When the heat starts to become uncomfortable, we recommend that you jump into a lake, or swimming pool, or take a cold shower to help bring your heart rate back to normal. After a short rest the cycle can be repeated again.
How will you be spending your Valentine’s Day? Why not enjoy the day relaxing in your Jacuzzi hot tub with a lovely glass of bubbly, his and hers bathrobes and a bottle of aromatic essence to help you relax?
All you have to do to enter is follow the steps below and you could be walking away with a pair of his and hers bathrobes and a bottle of aromatic essences from Euphoria Lifestyle.
An outdoor sauna can be an excellent way to unwind while taking in all that nature has to offer. Imagine having your very own outdoor retreat, where the whole family can take a rejuvenating break together. If you have a pool, everyone will enjoy the health benefits of deep-body heat followed by a quick, refreshing dip.
Outdoor saunas are not limited by the space restrictions you would have with an indoor sauna, so your imagination really is the limit in terms of location, size, and appearance. Because an outdoor sauna is exposed to the elements, it requires better quality outer panelling and insulation to protect it.
Nothing can be more refreshing after a stressful day than relaxing in an outdoor Jacuzzi with stunning views. These six awesome hot tubs are not only a perfect spot to recharge your mind, body and soul, but can also be an ideal place for a romantic date or even some family bonding time.
Most of us probably didn’t enter this year with the sensation of being on a beach stroll. ‘Hit the ground running’ would perhaps be a closer call home. And of course there’s nothing wrong with this – life bustles with opportunities and they simply won’t happen without us getting involved!
That being said, we always need to keep in mind that stress is no healthy matter and unwinding needs to be a top priority if we are to live to the fullest. The Euphoria Lifestyle team are firm believers in the benefits of de-stressing and have some tips towards a balanced 2014:
Sinking into hot water as strategically placed jets take care of those tense muscles is an ultimate stress reliever – it’s no wonder the Jacuzzi Hot Tub experience is so in demand! Being rejuvenated is not the only benefit of the spa experience however – it holds multiple health advantages, promotes better sleep and is ideal for catching up on social times.
Considering the value a hot tub adds to life, it makes sense that regular maintenance is necessary to keep the tub in pristine condition to deliver ongoing satisfaction. Euphoria Lifestyle is passionate about helping you keep your spa in tip top shape. Besides offering a host of maintenance services, we have the following recommendations for a healthy tub:
The festive season has drawn to a close and 2014 is officially in full swing. It’s the perfect time to see those new year’s resolutions roll out. Life can soon get crowded again so the Euphoria team has one more suggestion to add:
Make time for rejuvenating on a regular basis!
And what easier way to do this than to relax in a Jacuzzi hot tub or sauna? It’s as simple as stepping in and allowing the water and bubbles or hot air to do the hard work…
Relationships and socials are at the core of the festive season – you might not remember what you got for Christmas last year but you’ll remember who you spent it with. With extra leisure time, why not plan a Jacuzzi hot tub hangout that will be talked about long into the new year?
The Euphoria team are passionate about the social aspect of the Jacuzzi hot tub lifestyle and would love to help you plan your best holiday hot tub hangout with the following tips:

It’s a time too, when we get to spoil ourselves with an end-of-year treat – many of us having been contemplating how to spend that thirteenth cheque for some time. Have you considered indulging in a Jacuzzi hot tub or sauna? You can’t go wrong – it’s luxurious, not altogether selfish and will transform your living space into a steaming winter wonderland.

Euphoria loves the local Sussex community; and so when we had the opportunity to partner with Storrigton First School in West-Sussex, we gladly got involved. Christmas and year end always come with a mountain of stress, whether it’s wrapping up work, organising your overseas trip or anticipating the annual visit from the in-laws. As a method to relieve stress and tension, you may or may not have tried reflexology, which is an alternative treatment which involves applying physical pressure onto specific points of the feet, hands and ears. According to reflexology principles, these targeted points act as mirrors for other parts of the body, which are in turn stimulated.
Euphoria Lifestyle is turning up the heat this weekend with our hot tub sale, which promises to offer massive savings on the world renowned Jacuzzi brand. It’s an opportunity to satisfy the urge you’ve had all year and to splash out on a bit of luxury, without breaking the bank. You can save up to £3500 on some of our Jacuzzi products!

Many people assume that free chlorine is the most important parameter when testing water. if the pH level is too high, the chlorine simply will not work. Instead bacteria will flourish and bathers will be put at risk of infection.
pH 7.2 is the optimum level for bather comfort and equipment longevity. If the pH level rises significantly above this, free chlorine becomes inactive and will not work. At pH levels of 7.8 and above the efficacy of available chlorine is reduced to only around 30%.
