A BISHTA member hot tub specialist recently alerted BISHTA head office about a potentially dangerous hot tub that they were servicing for a customer, that had been purchased from a non member. Due to the BISHTA member’s quick response, the tub was made safe and as there was a potential entrapment issue, the appropriate Health and Safety authorities were contacted. BISHTA members are asked to inform head office if they deal with, or hear about any potential issues such as this and they will be followed up immediately.
